Solaris at one-north is one of Singapore's most technically complex commercial buildings — a BCA GreenMark Platinum certified development with integrated sustainable systems throughout. Every floor has eco-specific infrastructure: rainwater harvesting, climate-responsive ceilings, low-VOC environments, and integrated landscaping.
A global safety and innovation organisation vacating their tenancy needed full reinstatement against a landlord specification that runs to exceptional detail. Eco-compliant systems couldn't simply be "removed" — they had to be decommissioned in a way that preserved the building's green certification.
GreenMark Platinum buildings have strict requirements around how systems are removed and what materials are used. Low-VOC paint isn't optional — it's mandated. Sustainable flooring materials require specialist handling. The rainwater harvesting and eco-ventilation systems must be decommissioned with full documentation for the building management. Most contractors aren't equipped for this. We were.
The space was handed over before the agreed deadline — uncommon for a reinstatement project of this technical complexity. Full landlord compliance was achieved across all GreenMark requirements. The building management confirmed all eco-systems were correctly decommissioned with no impact to the building's Platinum certification standing.
